Family of both Sania and Rohan present

In the final, Rohan and his partner Sania Mirza went down 6-7, 2-6 to the Brazilian pair of Luisa Stefani and Rafael Matos at the Rod Laver Arena. The 42-year-old Rohan, who has so far won only one Grand Slam title, had a chance to add another title to his tally but failed in the Australian Open final for the second time in six years. Well, this match was more discussed for other reasons because the family of both Sania and Rohan were present during this time.

During the final, Sania’s son Izhaan Mirza was present at the stadium along with Malik Bopanna’s wife Supriya Annaiah and their two children. The camera caught sight of Rohan’s wife and the photo went viral on social media. After the match was over, a fan posted a picture on Twitter of Bopanna’s wife cheering from the stands and called her “the most beautiful woman I have ever seen”. This tweet of the fan became even more viral and now Bopanna has given a two word reply to it which has won the hearts of the fans.

The Grand Slam career of tennis may be over for Sania Mirza but Bopanna is in no mood to hang up the racket just yet. Bopanna is likely to participate in many more Grand Slams in future as well.
