The fierce war between Russia and Ukraine continues. Russia has been attacking Ukraine continuously for 21 days. In this war, Russian forces are destroying two cities with their missiles and firing, but are not able to break Ukraine’s spirits. Meanwhile, Ukraine has claimed that its army has caused great damage to the Russian army. According to Ukraine, in addition to killing 13,800 soldiers, Russian military equipment has also been destroyed. And now Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the US Congress on Wednesday. During this time he compared the horrors of Russia’s war in his country to the attacks of Pearl Harbor and 9/11.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky was given a standing ovation by the US Congress after his address. Ukraine’s President Zelensky compared the magnitude of the Russian attack on his country during this period to the attacks of Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Zelensky said that this is a terror that Europe had not seen for 80 years. Not only this, he went on to say that remember Pearl Harbor, the dreadful morning of December 7, 1941, when your sky was darkened by the planes attacking you.

Ukrainian President Zelensky addressed the US Parliament via virtual medium. Zelensky said that he has taken an oath that our country will not give up. Zelensky said the attack on Ukraine was not just for Ukraine. It is about democracy, freedom and choosing your own path.

With this, he thanked US President Joe Biden for the help, after which US lawmakers greeted him standing. In his address, Zelensky called for the US to provide more weapons to deal with Russian air strikes.
