Ranbir struggles for the fifth time

Big loss to Yash Raj Films

That is, Shamshera will be the third major setback of this year for Yash Raj Films. Earlier, Yash Raj Films’ 90 crore Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar earned 17.5 crores, while 180 crores Samrat Prithviraj earned 66 crores. Both the films were flops badly and now no one can stop Shamshera from joining this list. Together these three films will cause a loss of about 250 crores to Yash Raj Films.

Equal to the previous film?

Karan Malhotra’s previous film Agneepath earned 118 crores at the box office. It is at number two in the list of highest-grossing films of Sanjay Dutt’s career. On the other hand, the highest grossing films of Ranbir Kapoor’s career are Sanju of 342 crores and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani of 188 crores. It remains to be seen whether Shamshera becomes his third highest grossing film or not.
