New Delhi, June 05. CM Bhupesh Baghel said that some people are only doing politics against the operation of the mines. On one hand they keep their families in AC rooms and on the other they protest against the mines. In such a situation, they should first turn off the power supply in their homes.

Villagers are protesting against the coal mine to be opened in Sarguja, Chhattisgarh. Hasdeo forest trees are to be cut for coal mines. But the tribals say that they do not want to sacrifice their water, forest and land for the mine. At the same time, the forest department has started felling of trees. At the same time, the villagers are standing in the forest to protect the trees.

CM Bhupesh Baghel said that we are largely dependent on thermal power and for this we need coal for which mines have to be operated. If the mine is operated then there will be expansion and trees will be cut but more trees will be planted. Only 8,000 trees will be cut this year, but it is being projected in a big way. The CM further said that some people are only doing politics in protest against the operation of the mines. On one hand they keep their families in AC rooms. On the other hand, they oppose the mines. In such a situation, they should first turn off the power supply in their homes.
