Artist Vipul Shripad Mirajkar, a fan of Sonu Sood, created this stunning drawing using over 7 tonnes of Rangoli powder in a public park.

New Delhi / Team Digital. Sonu Sood woke up to a pleasant surprise on the eve of the 74th Republic Day, when news broke that a large portrait of the actor has been erected in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur city as a part of the Republic Day celebrations.

Artist Vipul Shripad Mirajkar, a fan of the actor, created this stunning painting using over 7 tonnes of rangoli powder in a public park. Overwhelmed by the work of art, the actor said, “I have no words. I am overwhelmed by all this love and appreciation. I am overwhelmed with gratitude.”

Rangoli is now attracting thousands of visitors every day. Through his Sood charity foundation, the actor started with helping migrants reach home during the lockdown and has now branched out into several endeavors in areas such as public health and education.
