Nitish can take any big decision on Tuesday?

Nitish’s party JDU continued its attack on BJP for the second consecutive day on Monday. On Sunday, the JD(U) had pointed to the involvement of the BJP in the alleged conspiracy against the Nitish Kumar government. CM Nitish had also ignored the Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday. According to JDU sources, a meeting will be held on Tuesday with all the 45 MLAs of the party at the Chief Minister’s residence itself. On the other hand, RJD has also asked all its 79 MLAs to reach Patna by Monday night, so that they can attend the meeting called by Tejashwi Yadav.

JDU has refused to join Modi cabinet

Meanwhile, JDU and RJD are showing signs of coming closer against each other by staying calm. In the political corridors, this political peace between the ruling party and the main opposition party is pointing towards some very big political storm. When JDU was asked on Sunday on the ongoing campaign by Tejashwi Yadav against the central government regarding inflation, the party said that it is their right. The current distance between JDU and BJP is being seen after the episode of former Union Minister and RCP Singh who was out of JDU. JDU national president Lalan Singh has said that his party will not be included in the Modi cabinet.

BJP has promised to continue the alliance

According to the information, the two-day executive committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party, which was held in Patna recently, has also not been liked in JDU. However, it has been insisted at the top level in the BJP that the alliance with JD(U) will continue in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and 2025 assembly elections as well. In fact, the way the BJP emerged as a bigger party than JDU in the 2020 assembly elections, Nitish’s party has seen unease with its ally since then.

Controversy has increased regarding RCP

JDU sources claim that ‘BJP was trying to make RCP Singh Eknath Shinde’, they also have purported proof of this. The RCP, once a number-two position in Nitish’s right-hand JD(U), was allegedly given a ministerial berth in the Modi government without the chief minister’s consent. But, he had to leave the ministerial post after Nitish’s party blocked the way for him to reach the Rajya Sabha again.

On Saturday, Nitish’s former aide quit the JD(U) following allegations that the party had bought 47 plots from his family between 2013 and 2022. RJD has not yet publicly disclosed its political cards. The eyes of the whole country are now on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar whether he breaks the alliance with the BJP or maintains the government by putting an end to all kinds of speculations and allegations.
