According to the Indian Meteorological Department, it will take the form of a cyclone by March 21. Due to the cyclonic storm, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. At the same time, strong winds will blow at a speed of 60 to 70 km.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding cyclonic storm Asani. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands administration has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea.
