The sting operation episode which created a stir in the politics of Uttarakhand in the year 2016 is once again in the news. Due to which Harak Singh Rawat can get into trouble along with former CM and Congress leader Harish Rawat. This case is going on in the CBI court. CBI has instructed former CM Harish Rawat, former minister Harak Singh Rawat, MLA Madan Bisht, MLA Umesh Kumar to give voice samples in the sting case.

Let us inform that in 2016, a sting of the then Chief Minister Harish Rawat came to the fore. In this, Chief Minister Harish Rawat was shown bargaining with the MLAs to save his government. After which a high voltage drama also happened regarding this whole matter. In the 2016 sting case, the CBI court has directed to send notices to former Chief Minister Harish Rawat and former minister Harak Singh Rawat.
While MLAs Umesh Kumar and Madan Bisht have been asked to issue notices following the constitutional procedures. A separate notice will be sent for when and where the voice samples will be taken. On the other hand, the decision of the High Court is to come on July 27 in this matter. On which all eyes are fixed. In the past, the CBI had issued notices to the four leaders regarding the voice sample. On July 15, his advocates argued in the court that the matter was also sub judice in the High Court. That’s why it should be heard only after the decision of the High Court.
In the year 2016, some MLAs rebelled in the then Congress government. After which a sting of Chief Minister Harish Rawat came to the fore. In this, Chief Minister Harish Rawat was shown bargaining with the MLAs to save his government. In another sting, the then Congress MLA Madan Singh Bisht was claimed to be.
Former cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat was also said to be involved in this sting. It was claimed that the stinger of these two is Umesh Kumar. Umesh Kumar is now MLA from Khanpur. The investigation of this episode was handed over to the CBI. The CBI had sought permission from the court to take voice samples to match the voices in the sting.
