This year also I won silver in the Senior Asian Championship. Vinesh Phogat is being sent directly in the 53 kg weight category in the Asian Games trials, while she does not have any achievement in her name.
“Vinesh has neither practiced for the last one year, she is injured; still she is being given importance. Whereas in the trials for the Commonwealth last year, I had three bouts with her. Then Had a chat with me too. Then I thought no problem, I will do well for the Asian Games. Then try for the World Championship as well.

“But now they are saying that Vinesh ji will be sent directly. I request all of you with folded hands to support me, as you supported them, now support me as well.
“We have been practicing for so long. My parents have left the village and come here to support me. I have been practicing for so many years, should I give up wrestling now? And now they are saying that they will send Vinesh directly.So someone tell me what mistake I have done?
“It is not only me but there are many girls who can beat Vinesh ji. You all support me. What will girls like me do otherwise. What should I do now after practicing for 4 years? Just tell me that Vinesh ji is being sent on the basis of what achievement?”
