Wimbledon and Grand Slam:
Carlos Alcarez created history by winning Wimbledon. It is also special because in front of him was Novak Djokovic of Serbia in the final match. Djokovic won the first set but later Carlos took the match to his name with a bang.

Alcarez has won the Grand Slam title for the second time. The special thing is that he is only 20 years old now. In such a situation, his career is going to be very long. This player coming from Spain has turned out to be a hero overnight. Djokovic was defeated by Alcarez 3–2 in the Wimbledon final.

Although Alcarez has won Wimbledon, he is also being described as a Grand Slam champion. This was the second Grand Slam title of his career. In such a situation, now the question also arises in the mind of the people that what is the difference between Grand Slam and Wimbledon.

There are mainly four events in tennis. All of them together are called Grand Slam. Winning all four in a year is called a Grand Slam title. There are four tournaments in Grand Slam. These include the Australian Open, French Open, US Opener and Wimbledon. This happens in both singles and doubles. If all four tournaments are not won in a year, then it is called non Grand Slam winner.

Wimbledon is played at the third place and the US Open at the last. The tournament which is organized in the third order in the Grand Slam is called Wimbledon. The US and Australian Open are played on hard courts. Wimbledon has a grass court and the French court has a clay court, which is like clay.
