Wrestlers Protest:
Indian wrestlers’ sit-in protest against Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh continues. These days the sportspersons who have brought laurels to the country are on the streets, but till now the matter has not been resolved. Regarding this strike, many star wrestlers like Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik say that they are again forced to protest after not getting justice. Meanwhile, former captain of the Indian cricket team and former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has given a big reaction to the movement of wrestlers.

Hope it gets resolved soon- Ganguly
In fact, during a press conference, when Ganguly was asked about the sit-in, he said, ‘Let them fight their battle. I don’t know much about what is happening there. Just read about it in the paper. I have understood one thing in the sports world that you should not speak about what you are not fully aware of, but I hope that it will be resolved soon. Wrestlers bring a lot of medals to this country and they don’t deserve it.

Wrestlers got the support of many veterans
In fact, Indian wrestlers are continuing their protest over the arrest of Wrestling Federation President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Wrestlers sitting in this dharna have made serious allegations against Brij Bhushan for exploiting many women wrestlers. In such a situation, they now demand that along with the arrest of Brij Bhushan, he should also be removed from the post of WFI. In support of the wrestlers, many veterans have also demanded the government to get justice soon.

Apart from India’s star boxer Nikhat Zareen, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has also openly supported the wrestlers. Apart from this, Indian athlete and Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra and Kapil Dev, considered one of the greatest players in cricket history, also demanded the government to give justice soon.

The matter of demonstration of wrestlers has reached the Supreme Court. Hearing has also been done on the petition filed by the wrestlers on behalf of the court. However, SC in its judgment had decided to close the hearing of the petition. The court said in the order that he had filed a petition for registration of FIR, which has now been done. Now there is no further hearing in this matter. In such a situation, soon the wrestlers can take their next step in this matter.
