The company has announced that it is now going to start delivering food to its customers within just 10 minutes. Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal has given this information through a post on Twitter. Announcing this new service, he said that soon 10 minute delivery service is going to start on Zomato. At present we are providing the service of grocery delivery in 10 minutes. Let us tell you that this is going to be the first company which will deliver food to the people within 10 minutes.
30 minutes is too slow
Goyal said that I am a customer of BlinkIt and often order from it. I also started realizing that the average delivery time on Zomato is 30 minutes which is very slow, so we have to improve it. If we don’t do it, someone else will. There is no other option in the market than to make new and better options if you want to stay in the market. So we are going to start the service of food delivery on Zomato in 10 minutes. Let us tell you that Zomato has also invested in BlinkIt.

At the same time, work is also being done to get the food delivery partner from the restaurant as soon as possible. Goyal said that the most on the app is this option people choose which restaurant provides quick food. The service of fast food delivery is very much liked by the customers, but the delivery agents do not like much. But the 10 minutes grocery delivery service is being liked by the people in the country, there have been many such cases when agents put their lives at risk. But Goyal says that Zomato does not put any such pressure on the agents to make quick deliveries.
Agents’ safety is not compromised
In his blog, Goyal wrote, “We want to make it clear to our service of fast delivery that we do not put any pressure on our agents to deliver fast. Nor do we fine them for it. Delivery agents are not informed about the time in which they have to deliver. The service of Zomato Instant is going to start from next month only at four stations in Gurugram. Please tell that information has not been given by the company as to how they will deliver in such a short time.
Other companies can also start
It is believed that if this service of Zomati is successful then companies like Swiggy will also adopt such option. Swiggy launched the Instamart service a few months back. On the other hand, talking about BlinkIt, it delivers goods to people within just 10 minutes, due to which people are very fond of it. Blinkit charges an additional Rs 9 for this service.
